Bixbi Balance Bikes Classic 12 and MTB 12 are ideal for children ages 2-5 years old with an inseam measurement of 12" to 19" (with addition of the LowRider kit). To determine the best fit, follow the measurement guide below.
You’ll need a book, a measuring tape, and your child in their favorite pair of shoes.
Have your child stand against a wall, place the book between their legs and raise the book up until it hits their crotch. Measure from the top of the book (make sure to hold it level) to the floor.
Subtract 0.5 inches from the measurement and that is the inseam measurement, or what is also called the “standover frame height” for your child (we recommend subtracting 0.5 inches from their inseam because you want your child to be able to place their feet flat on the ground when standing over the bike). See the below chart for best fit.
A balance bike that actually looks and rides like a real bike, just smaller. Check. More color options than you can shake a sippy cup at. Check. Designed by Canadians (they know bikes) and hand-built in Taiwan (home to the bike industry) with the best materials and components, Bixbi Bikes are the best first bike for your little rider to help them learn the important skills of balance, bike handling, and steering.
You’ll need a wall, book, measuring tape, and your child in their favorite pair of shoes (and cookies to bribe them to hold still).

Subtract 0.5 inches from your measurement. If your measurement is greater than the min seat height, you're good. If not, you might need a LowRider set.
