The Chakra Child helmet design includes a molded-in visor in the front and extended coverage at the back of the head. With the lower back of head coverage the helmet better protects more of your child’s head against those backward falls.

When it comes to head protection it's important that a helmet is comfortable enough for your child to want to wear it. The Kali Chakra Child’s Dial-Fit makes comfort a top priority, so much so that our kids don’t want to take it off!

The Chakra Child size S helmet features an adjustable dial to securely fit the helmet. A simple turn of the dial snugs the helmet to your child’s head to keep them safe. The size XS uses an elastic band fit, which is safer and easier for smaller heads.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND VENTED
The Chakra Child is designed with growing children in mind. Neck muscles are still developing so it’s important that a helmet is lightweight (2.6 oz), not placing added strain on their neck. There are 21 vents to help keep your child cool on summer days.

GATHER YOUR TOOLS

A flexible measuring tape, string, phone charger or something similar will work great (and a ruler to measure the length of string).

MEASURE

Wrap the measuring tape around your child's head just above their eyebrows and 1.5 cm above their ears. Mark the location of overlap to find the measurement.

◄What size helmet should I get?
The Kali Chakra Child helmet is made for head sizes 46 to 54 cm. Check out the “Fit Guide” above for instructions on how to measure your child’s head size.

◄What if my child is between sizes?

If your child is between sizes, you should size down. When it comes to helmets it is more important to get a snug, secure fit then it is to worry about “having room to grow”. A helmet that is too big will not fit correctly and will not function properly in a crash.

◄What happens if a helmet is damaged in a crash?

Stop using the helmet immediately. Once a helmet has been in a serious accident and shows visible signs of damage discontinue use. All Kali Protective helmets are covered by a lifetime crash replacement program. Contact Bambino Bikes to start your replacement claim.
